The Fully Automatic Laser Diode Module Tester VMSB-2000 is designed to meet the high-quality material handling and test requirements of the Laser Diode and Optical modules market.
This high-speed LD Bar Test and Handling machine integrates the customer’s testing equipment including integrating sphere ; in the machine design to test and measure electrical and optical output power characteristics of the modules (LIV, Wavelength, Far Field…. ) before placing them in in up to three Bins based on pre -determined rankings.
The machine includes three main sections to accommodate an input cassette, output cassette (OK) and three NG carriers that are easily set by the operator. Carriers with laser diode modules are automatically loaded from the input cassette and unloaded to the output cassette.
Each LD module is picked up from the input carrier, tested at the test table and transferred to the output carrier(OK carrier) or the NG carrier in up to three bins (Bin 1~3) depending on the measurement result.

• Measurement of Front LIV and Wavelength is executed through the integrating sphere which is supplied by a customer
• Map data for each carrier is created and output available through customer PC
• Each input carrier is loaded and unloaded from the input table
• Z-axis accuracy and precision using - Stepping Motor / Ball Screw Drive / 200mm Stroke / 10um Resolution
• Bar code reader to facilitate auto operation and trackability
